TITUS (PENDING ADOPTION)
This handsome guy is Titus. Titus is a 12 month-old puppy who plays hard and naps even harder. Titus needs a lot of attention, a lot of love, and a lot of redirection. He loves to play and work for treats but he will test the boundaries every chance he gets. He needs a family who will take the flip flop out of his mouth, tell him nice try, and redirect him to his frozen peanut butter Kong. Titus is fully house trained and crate trained. He sleeps well alone in his crate in a living room but he would probably like to sleep in the crate in your room or even possibly on your bed. Titus is still anxious and fearful of many things. He will need a family that will take him to dog training classes and who will commit to making sure that he gets the exercise he needs every day. He likes to roughhouse with other dogs, so he will do best with younger dogs or as an only dog. He has only seen cats at the vet and wasn’t sure of what to think. He came from a home with kids and is being fostered in a home with kids so as long as your children are able to stand their ground with a big canine who steals their stuffed animals when they leave them laying, around then everything will be great. He has not been aggressive but he could accidentally hurt smaller children with his goofy rambunctiousness. He is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Apply to adopt Titus here!
“Beautiful” is what comes to mind when you meet Charlie. She is a 7 year-old spunky, sensitive, and lovable girl. She takes a minute to warm up to you but once she feels comfortable around you she will always be by your side. In her mind a human hand should always be petting her. Her ideal home would be with someone who is home a lot and can spend time with her. She really likes human companionship but would do best around adults and not small children. She also prefers to be the the only dog, and does not like female dogs. She is being fostered with two male dogs and seems to like them. Charlie LOVES car rides and walks. Her favorite toys are the squeaky kind and she enjoys chewing on moose antlers in her spare time. She’s a lover of being outside and is a great protector of her home. Could you be that perfect home for Charlie? Don’t let her age fool you, she has a lot spunk left and will make someone an excellent companion. She is spayed and UTD. Beau is a 22 month, 130 pound Great Dane who is ready for his forever home. He is crate trained but loves to snuggle in bed. He has quickly adapted to our other fur babies, and exhibits no food aggression or aggressive tendencies. Beau quickly adapted to using the doggie door for his potty breaks and playtime rituals. Beau loves toys and loves to play tug-a-war with his foster brother. He’s energetic when it’s time for a walk, but settles down when Netflix is on. Beau does well on a non-retractable leash with halter and is in the process of learning to heal. Additionally, Beau is learning simple tricks like “sit” and “shake”. He routinely comes when called, but can get distracted by the mailman, neighborhood walkers, or cats. He is up to date on all vaccinations, and was neutered in early August. He requires loving goodbyes before you go to work, and quick loving recognition when you come home! Beau is good with children. He is an amazing dog with a lot of love to give but can become to attached to his people and at times will become protective and at times possessive, especially when other strange dogs are approaching. He will continue to need patience, time, consistency and training. He is UTD. To adopt Beau apply here!
Paul is a very energetic and playful 2.5 year old. He loves sprinting laps in the yard, playing with other dogs and with children. He craves attention and doesn’t want for you to ever be alone. He’s protective of his house and foster family. It takes some time for him to warm up to strangers but once he does, he’s very lovable. He’s potty trained, does not do the stairs, sleeps on the sofa and although he knows the kitchen counters are off limits, he may help himself to a snack if unsupervised. He’s coming around to car rides slowly. He walks well on a leash but prefers to run and chase squirrels. He would definitely love to have a fenced in yard and a pup friend to play with. He has not been cat tested. He is UTD and neutered. To adopt Paul please apply here!
Phoenix is 5 years old and loves to cuddle. He is deaf and knows hand signals for come, sit, down, and stay. We are working on his leash manners. He is good with dogs and has not been cat tested. He would be best in a home with older kids as he is easily startled when sleeping. He does have some separation anxiety but does well when left out when gone. He is crate trained but barks and pants while locked up. He is protective of his humans and home. He is housebroken, neutered and UTD. Apply to adopt Phoenix here!
Rue is a smaller Dane that is very friendly and appreciative of the attention she gets. She is between 6-7 years old. She is a little timid at first, but will come out of it after a day or two. She enjoys walks, car rides, and dog parks. She stays indoors most of the time, and gets a little upset when you leave without her. She wants to sleep snuggled up in your arms, but obediently sleeps on a dog bed if you tell her to. She gets along well with people and other dogs but has not been cat-tested. Rue is UTD. Please apply to adopt Rue here!
