Wish: Wish is a female, great dane about 12 months old. She is deaf and oh so snuggly! She knows “sit” and will wait to be petted or to take a treat. She is crate trained and being socialized by her wonderful fosters, but nothing beats a forever home. She will do best in a home with a dominant large breed dog and no small dogs. She will only be adopted as an INDOOR pet. Apply to adopt Wish! Her adoption fee is $350

Briggs is a 3 year old, harlequin Great Dane. His foster mom says, “Briggs has been such a good boy. Learning to sit for all things food related. Crates like a dream. Is even pleasant around the other dogs. He’s a super sweet boy.” He came to us emaciated on April 5th weighing 124 pounds. He needs to gain at least 30 to be at an ideal weight. He’s a gorgeous boy but don’t apply to adopt just because he’s cool to look at. He can be bossy if his person does not command his respect. Be a strong leader and he will be a delightful pet. Briggs does not like farm animals or cats. Until he gets through all of his training, no small kids please. He is neutered and UTD on vaccines and will only be adopted as an inside pet. Apply to adopt Briggs!
So danes are lazy, couch potatoes you say? Atlas here is the poster child then. He will stand when you tell him to but you have about 4 seconds to give him a command or he is right back to his favorite spot. KGDR took him in to get a diagnosis for some knee or hip pain. X-rays show healthy hips, and inflammation at his knees, but no obvious cause. His pain is managed with NSAIDs and he is on a weight-gain plan. Atlas is adoptable to someone able and willing to keep his pain management meds going indefinitely. Apply to adopt Atlas!
